One Act Play Evening

Our centenary celebrations continue with an evening that celebrates local drama with three one-act plays on Saturday 11th April from 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm). Grove Park Theatre have invited three local community theatre groups to take part. This isn't a competition, just a chance for groups to come along, use our stage and facilities, find a new audience and make new connections.

• The evening's entertainment includes:
  Llangollen Twenty Club - Blackadder by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton
• Locked Door Theatre Company - The Monkey's Paw by Amelia Armande (Winner of the CCTA One Act Play Festival 2026)
• Wrexham Music & Theatre Society - Checkmate by Robert Scott
