Cinderella Refunds
If you have purchased tickets for this year's pantomime Cinderella, we are pleased to announce details of our refund policy:
- Please note we are unable to refund any booking fees.
- Refunds can only be made via the BACS system. We are unable to refund back to your credit/debit card and require your bank details to be able to initiate a payment.
- Please contact the theatre via Email only on info@groveparktheatre.co.uk with your name, performance date and your bank details.
- Please allow up to 21 days from the date of your request for funds to reach your account.
- While the theatre is closed, we have no regular income but a lot of bills to pay in an already financially challenging situation. We would like you to consider “donating” either the full or partial ticket cost back to the Theatre.
- We will always attempt to respond to your emails within a few days. If you have not heard from us, please contact us again as your email may not have arrived.
Update 1st July 2020
Cinderella Cancellation
We are so sorry to tell you that we are cancelling this year's pantomime Cinderella.
We've not taken this decision lightly - it's our favourite time of year: welcoming everyone involved and everyone who comes to enjoy the singing, dancing, lights, music, costumes and laughter.
Putting on such a large production simply isn't practical, and may not be safe, whilst we are still social distancing.
Although December feels a long way off, we would usually start rehearsing soon after the summer and we don't see that being possible this year.
We will be in touch with everyone who has purchased tickets within the next 14 days regarding your options.
Please bear with us while we sort everything out.
Thank you for your patience.
If you would like to get in touch, please send an email to info@groveparktheatre.co.uk

Update 6th June 2020
New Season 2020 to 2021
Dear Grove Park Theatre (GPT) Supporter
We hope that you and yours are well and safe
A key question facing every theatre, professional or amateur, is when shall we be able to stage live performances again within the constraints of social distancing?
With some reduction of the restrictions of social distancing we thought it was the right time to update you on our plans.
We have decided that currently the earliest live theatre we could hope to stage would be Cinderella scheduled for December 2020.
This is a fast-moving situation. Our current view on the "re-start" date could move (forward or backward) depending on progress fighting the virus and Government advice. We
shall be monitoring the Government guidance very carefully and will post updates if the situation changes.
Our aim is to get live theatre up and running at GPT as soon as we can, always bearing in mind the safety and well-being of our patrons and members.
Thank you for supporting Grove Park Theatre. Stay safe and we hope to see you back at GPT as soon as we safely can.
Kind Regards - Val, Chairman of GPT
We ask you to avoid contacting the theatre directly. The Box Office will remain closed until further notice and we will not be able to receive phone calls. If you would like to get in touch, please send an email to info@groveparktheatre.co.uk
Further details of our new season and membership will be published here as it becomes available
Update 19th March 2020
Following the recommendation from the UK government on March 16, it is with great sadness we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the rest of the season at Grove Park Theatre. For the first time in our history we are unable to complete our season.
We ask all ticket holders to avoid contacting the theatre directly. The Box Office will remain closed until further notice and we will not be able to receive phone calls. If you would like to get in touch, please send an email to info@groveparktheatre.co.uk
Grove Park Theatre is a Society made up of members who give of their time freely and without financial reward. Grove Park does not have any employees. We have relied on the good will of our audience to sustain our activities since 1925 and now, more than ever, we ask for your patience and good will during these unprecedented times.
As most of our audience is aware Grove Park is a registered charity, number 505339, and relies on the income from all of our productions to survive. The income that would have been generated by the final three productions of the season is irreplaceable and will considerably affect the cash flow for the rest of the season.
As we are unable to complete our season we propose to adopt the following policy
- For our Season Ticket holders we would firstly ask that you consider “donating” the last three vouchers of the season back to the Theatre.
- If this is not acceptable we will give a discount on the season ticket price for 2020/21 of £20, which is equal to half of the season ticket price for 2019/20 (£40). This will be provided when you sign up for the new season. Proof of holding a season ticket for the 2019/20 season will be required. Please retain your vouchers and we will retain any tickets already booked and in our possesion.
- For those members of our audience who have bought tickets we would similarly ask that you consider donating the cost of your ticket to the Theatre.
- If this is not acceptable refunds can only be made via the BACS system. We are unable to refund back to your credit/debit card and require your bank details to be able to initiate a payment. Please note we are unable to refund any booking fees. Should a refund, partial or total be required, please contact the theatre via Email only on info@groveparktheatre.co.uk
- We will always attempt to respond to your emails within a few days. If you have not heard from us, please contact us again as your email may not have arrived.
- Tickets for our Pantomime Cinderella remain on sale and at his stage no refunds will be made.
We cannot stress enough that any acts of kindness from our audience would be most welcome in helping Grove Park provide quality live entertainment to the community, as we have done for the last 95 years.
We would like to thank our audience members for their support and understanding at this difficult time and we look forward to welcoming you back to Grove Park Theatre in the future.
