Youth Theatre
Grove Park Theatre has a thriving Youth Section. Founded in 1970, the group welcomes young people from the age of 10 (year 6) upwards and offers weekly workshops on all aspects of theatre and performance skills. Whether you are interested in acting, singing, dancing, or behind-the-scenes work, we are keen to hear from you.
Youth Theatre meets every Thursday night during school term times:
- 6.30-8.00pm: age 10 (year 6) to age 13
- 8.00-9.30pm: age 14 upwards
You will have the chance to learn all about the theatre and take part in our annual Youth Theatre production. Many Youth Theatre members also successfully gain parts in plays produced by the adult section - and of course our yearly pantomime!
