Dick Whittington is just an ordinary Gloucestershire country boy off to see the sights of London.
That is until Fairy Bow and Fairy Bells tell him he is destined to be Lord Mayor of London. What could possibly go wrong?
Well, there is the slight problem in the shape of the evil King Rat; who has vowed to destroy anyone who should get in his way of world domination – including Dick!
Luckily our hero is joined by a whole host of fun and fabulous friends: there’s the beautiful Alice and her father Alderman Fitzwarren; Olympic hopefuls Track and Field and the hilarious Idle Jack. Not forgetting the one of a kind Sarah the Cook!
Dick’s most important friend though is Tommy the Cat – the best rat catcher in all the land; but has even Tommy met his match against King Rat?
