by James Graham.
This is a truly original, touching, funny and thought-provoking new play by one of the UK’s finest young talents.
Robin and Jacqui are keraunothetophobiacs – people with a fear of things that fall from the sky – and have to live their lives indoors. They think they are alone in their phobia: that is until they meet in an online ‘chat room’ and share their fears and anxieties. They also share their hobbies, interests, life plans and desire to conquer the phobia that governs their lives – but can never quite bring themselves to meet up outside of cyberspace. Or can they . . .?
A History of Falling Things premiered at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold, in April 2009.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Methuen Drama.
