Pantomime Competition

Design an apron for the dame and win family tickets to the show – and see your design in the pantomime

Calling all budding costume designers - Your local pantomime needs you!

The traditional pantomime at Grove Park Theatre in Wrexham is now in its fourth decade – and still going strong. This year we want to get local schools involved in pantomime magic by designing an apron to be worn by Sarah the Cook - the dame in our production of Dick Whittington and His Cat, which runs from December 7th to January 5th.

The competition is open to children in two age groups – from 5 to 7 and from 8 to 11. Entries must be submitted to the theatre at Hill Street, Wrexham, by 26th October 2012. Winners in each category will win tickets for a family of four to attend the pantomime and the overall winner will also have their design turned into a real-life apron by the theatre’s wardrobe mistress – and it will be worn by the dame during the whole run of the show.

Please make sure each entry includes the name, address and age of the entrant.
